Somatic Experiencing
Somatic Experiencing (SE) is an integrative process that helps folks release and settle physiological activation from the body after a traumatizing event. SE helps folks navigate how to regulate and re-calibrate our nervous systems so that we can ease into safety and regain connection and vitality. SE supports folks by bringing awareness to uncomfortable sensations in their bodies and gently shifting them to improve safe connection to self and others.
The SE approach releases traumatic shock, which is key to transforming PTSD and the wounds of emotional and early developmental attachment trauma. It offers a framework to assess where a person is “stuck” in the fight, flight, or freeze responses and provides clinical tools to resolve these fixated physiological states.
Are you a student of Somatic Experiencing? Megan regularly assists with Somatic Experiencing International trainings. She is an approved session provider for Beginning year students. Follow the schedule an appointment instructions to book a personal session for SEP credit.

Individual Therapy
I provide individual therapy using somatic, person-centered, and neurodivergent affirming approaches. Whether you’re hoping to heal attachment wounds, learn new regulation skills, explore your gender or sexuality, or are struggling through a life transition, I am here to support you.
As a queer and neurodivergent person myself, I strive to make sessions affirming, safe spaces for every body. I offer in-person appointments in Brentwood and Franklin, TN and virtual appointments for folks in Tennessee.
I am currently on a waitlist for individual therapy. You can be added to my waitlist HERE.
Please note: It is my ethical duty to uphold that my clients are in the state of Tennessee at the time of their appointment(s).

Communal and Group Offerings
Healing is done in community. Connecting with others can provide us reparative experiences for times we’ve felt harmed, unsafe or in distress in relationship to others. Group therapy provides a unique communal healing space for folks are seeking support, validation, community and connection.
Groups are offered seasonally and will be updated on this page as they emerge.

Clinical Consultation
If you’re a therapist and are looking to explore more about somatics, nervous system health, best practices working with LGBTGEQIAP+ folks, or wanting to learn through a neurodivergent affirming lens, you are in the right place.
In my early days as a therapist, I remember thinking “something is missing” when it came to the ways I was addressing folks with traumatized nervous systems. As I began to learn and incorporate a more bottom-up approach, I felt more confident and grounded in my work and saw my clients’ lives improve.
Professional consultation can be provided throughout the Unites States for therapists, coaches and educators who want to expand their sense of embodiment and utilize somatic tools with clients.

Supervision
Supervision with me is personalized and tailored to each supervisee. I love to use experiential practices and poly-vagal theory in supervision sessions to explore embodiment in real time. Supervision is a place you can go to if you need help, a space to process person of the therapist conflicts as they arise, and a warm presence to remind you that you are capable.
I am so grateful for the many nurturing, knowledgeable mentors I’ve had through my professional journey and I am so honored to work with folks wanting to expand their experiences and education as their supervisor.
